Thank you...i will be getting my ultrasound tomorrow...i hope everything turns out good...i will try to relax and pray to god see if that calms me
I've had the vaginal ultrasound as well. It didn't hurt me and I honestly had no idea that gadget even existed. I'm a first time mom, so I'm learning everything as I go. I'm sure you'll do great. Just relax and don't let the fears or negativity get the best of you. :)
I had a vaganial ultrasound when I was 9 weeks and 4 days. It doesn't hurt just kinda uncomfortable. I'll be 13 weeks tomorrow :D
I've had several as well. I know everyone is different, but I never had any issues. I did spot a little bit with my first pregnancy, but this time I didn't.
I dont think an ultrasound can make you miscarry. Usually when a miscarriage happens its because something isn't right with the baby. They are things that just happen & although sometimes can be brought on, I dont think a vaginal ultrasound is the culprit. Think about it, if they did cause miscarriages I dont see why doctors would be conducting them. Ive never had a bad experience with a transvaginal ultrasound & I have had a few. Try not to worry and stay positive. I know how u feel as Ive miscarried once in the past & I'm 11 weeks tomorrow. Oh & just a side note, because you are early on, if they dont see anything by doing the ultrasound on your belly they will want to get a better look internally. Talk to your doctor & tell them how you feel, they will give you all the reassurance you need. Good luck!
They do not hurt just a little uncomfortable. as far as having a misscarage they do not cause them. It is probably a coincidence that the people you know had them right after the ultrasound. Vaginal ultrasounds are usually performed in early pregnancy which is when misscarage s tend to occur so most likley they were already destined to mc. If you still feel uncomfortable of course you can refuse to get one. A dr can not make you do anything you dont want to do. However since your so early that would be the best way to see your baby. I have had about 4 vaginal ultradounds and it was wonderful to see my baby and the heartbeat. Resaerch vaginal ultrasound from a reliable source that is the best way to make any decision. You can also research cause of misscarage to if your concered with those. As far as if seen vaginal ultrasounds are not one of them. I hope this helps :)
You won't miscarry because of a vaginal ultraaound. Its a little uncomfortable, but not worse than a pap smear
