Exactly. It's low dose and then you can be on a pain med drip which you can push a button for more as it gets worse. It's supposed to be easier to birth through and recover from.
I've heard it's a low dose epidural, they give you enough medicine so that you can still feel your body contacting, but it's takes the edge off the pain. I don't want to be confined to the hospital bed not being able to feel my legs, so I'm considering one.
Do you mean a spinal block epidural? The one that they inject into your spine when you get an elative c section.im getting my third and it has worked out great for me
I believe it's also called the combo epidural? I'm not positive... but your Dr should be familiar.
Never heard of a walking epidural. :/
I haven't but my friend at work did in May. She said it was great! Not all hospitals offer it, so you need to ask. But she was a ftm and said she'd do it again.
