Walking Epidural

Have any of you ladies ever had a walking epidural? If so, what was your experience? Would you get it a second time?

Exactly. It's low dose and then you can be on a pain med drip which you can push a button for more as it gets worse. It's supposed to be easier to birth through and recover from.

I've heard it's a low dose epidural, they give you enough medicine so that you can still feel your body contacting, but it's takes the edge off the pain. I don't want to be confined to the hospital bed not being able to feel my legs, so I'm considering one.

I believe it's also called the combo epidural? I'm not positive... but your Dr should be familiar.

I haven't but my friend at work did in May. She said it was great! Not all hospitals offer it, so you need to ask. But she was a ftm and said she'd do it again.
