Cyst on umbilical cord?

I had my fist ultrasound at 8 weeks, and at my 12 week appointment I was told they found a cyst on the umbilical cord. They said there's nothing to do or worry about at this point and that it might go away on its own. I go in next for my normal 20 week ultrasound at the end of May and they will take a look at it then.

I've found some pretty scary stuff on Google (I know bad idea), basically saying it's either nothing and will go away or it is a marker of Trisomy 13 or Trisomy 18. We did not to genetic testing.

Has anyone else had this come up? Any info would be great.

I had a cyst to and mine is gone it will go away they had told me if if it didn't they would do surgery and remove it which in that case causes you to lose your baby but mine went away and I'm about to be 18 weeks so don't worry it scared me to and being I had a bad wreck last year that caused major surgeries and I died a couple times I had formed a cyst which scared me but I'm OK I'm healthy and it's all gone so relax your doctors got you
