My 3rd child I had to bottle feed due to a severe thrush Infection. She was really against  taking the bottle.. it turns out she refused the silicone bottle nipple and would only take a latex nipple. Goodluck!

My niece was the same way. She refused a bottle and her mother is a nurse.  When she went back to work her husband had to spoon feed breast milk to my niece.

I started to wean my 1 year old a couple months ago. She also doesn't like bottles. She will drink 2 oz at most but takes a long time and she has to watch tv at the same time. So I began to give her little sips of my juice or water etc from my plastic cup. Now i pour the formula milk in a light small plastic cup and she likes to take a sip at a time but it is faster.

You can try a different brand of bottle. Or feed him more before and after daycare to make sure he's getting enough. Is he still feeding at night too? Some babies are sleeping 6-8 hour stretches without eating at this age, so if he's doing it during the day it should be OK if he's still eating at night. Keep an eye on his weight gain though.
