I guess we're opposite lol. I go by the way the name ends my daughter is Clarissa and my son is Elijah. If this one is a girl it will be Michaela, haven't got one for a by yet :/

My first son my aunt by marriage  picked out the name Jacob Michael this pregnancy my uncle  by blood (my aunts mentioned aboved husband) picked the name Matthew Ryan  they are my family I feel closest too and have always been there for for me so to me their opinions tho ghts input mattered the most

with my first son i did express that i wanted the initials to be jmd  though then from their the name was picked  have a my great great grampas initials was jmd my grampas was one of my brothers was and i am the only one yet to have boys so i figured i would continue the jmd initials and i hope my one of ny son will when they are older have kids if a boy was to come along but if that happens it better not for another 15 or little over 18 years since my second boy i am pregnant with now
