What do braxton hicks feel like?

My doc asked me if I've started having braxton hicks contractions. I honestly have no idea.

Im.38+2 and i didnt know what bh were untill i read all your answers ...so that means ive getting them since 36 weeks and had no idea i just thought all the cramps and tightness was normal.

it sounds like braxton hics, i am 26 weeks, i started to get mine around 20 weeks. i get what feels like cramps, and my stomach tightens up.  but it only lasts for about a minute with mine.

I'm 33 weeks.  Every so often I get a feeling similar to a cramp from running but not as painful. Usually lasts 10—20 seconds. Could that be it? I just assumed it was baby girl doing something.

Light tightness but I knew when they went fake anymore cause it was cramps like I'd never felt before! Like crouch down can't move pain!  Everyone's pain tolerance is different!  How many weeks r u??

Some people never feel them. I get them every day. (I'm 33 weeks) to me it feels less like cramps and more like upset stomach after eating something that doesn't agree with you. Sorry sounds gross but like you will need to go to the bathroom. And your stomach gets really hard! It only lasts for about 40 seconds and then goes right away. It's not that bad, just annoying.
