What formula is better ?!

We all know that breast feeding is the best souce of milk for our babies but if there's was a point where the baby just wasn't latching on right what formula would you use ? I'm curious bc I heard Similac is suppose to be better but it's more pricer , and then I hear about about Enfamil and Good Start but not as much as Similac.

If baby wasn't latching on I would check with my pediatrician and lactation consultant to see if there was any physical problem behind the issue. A tongue tie or inverted nipples can be quickly and easily remedied.
If no easy solution was available for a latch issue and bottles were a necessity, I would pump and bottle-feed breastmilk. No need to deny my child of the best nutrition possible just because of trouble with the packaging.
When my son was six weeks old I went back to work full time. When he was six months old I entered a full-time nursing school program. I nursed him until he was two years old. It's possible if you are determined and stick with it. It's hard work but my personal convenience didn't outweigh the health benefits.

We used the sensitive stomach similac, the one with the orange lid, after struggling for 6 months with reflux and spitting up like crazy while breastfeeding. It seemed to calm his stomach and they have it at Costco, so you can get a decent deal on it. We didn't try other brands though so I can't really compare it to anything else.

I've gotten Similac some of the blue can cause that's what they give them in the hospital that I will be at anyway and I also got some of the orange can (sensitive) cause my 1st daughter could only tolerate soy based and I'm just nervous but I'm definitely going with Similac expecially till I know how her tummy will be!

I used similac soy and loved it. My daughter was allergic to milk and this made her feel great. Plus, they send a lot of coupons and even free samples if you sign up with them.

Ik what you mean breastfeeding is def#1 in my book but I understand there are times when formula is more convenient for some people. Having said that I've heard good things about good start, I've never used it. I used similac after going to work I hated pumping! Did for awhile but want working for me. Enfamil I hear negative things about my child actually threw it up so I had to make wic switch to similac bc that is what worked for him. Plus Enfamil is on recall lists far more than any other formula from what I've seen :-(

Yess I did hear a lady said something like that about her child I hope that doesn't happen in my case . And really price isn't the problem I just wanted the best for my baby girl, I will breast feed for as long as I can but I'll have to go back to work after a few months and pumping is time consuming

I used Enfamil with one of my kids but what you have to realize is your baby may be allergic to all of them because your baby may be allergic to milk products or soy products and in that case you're going to have to find some rare formula with a much higher price tag

I have always used Good Start! Because it is just as good as the others but cheaper.
