What to do?

I'm 7w4d and I am having lite cramping. When I used the bathroom I had some brownish vaginal bleeding.  I'm not new to having kids, but I am new to these kind of symptoms.  Should I be worried? What should I do?

I had spotting up until my 12th week I freaked out as well.  I am now 21 weeks and so far so good.  At 7 weeks they can't always see the baby.  I would say try not to stress out but truth is I didn't stop stressing until I stopped spotting.  Just relax as much as possible and don't do any heavy lifting.  I seriously know how you feel this is my third pregnancy and I have never had this happen. In fact I would up in the emergency room twice cause I was so scared I was losing my baby.

Oh gosh!!! Please be careful sweetie. Keep us posted!! & I'm praying that it was just a discrepancy in the due dates as well. I can deal with that way better then I can a missed miscarriage.

I ended up going to the hospital last night. They did an ultrasound ( regular & vaginal )....checked my hcg level via blood test and they gave me a pelvic exam. My hcg levels came back good! Doctor said that they are right where they should be. My pelvic exam showed that I had a minor UTI. I'm still worried too death because when they did the ultrasound they only seen the sack, but NO baby. The doctor reassured me that I could be just in early pregnancy (the stage where you can't see much). Meaning that the estimated due date that my doctor gave me could be off by a few weeks. However, she told me that it's important that I follow up with my obgyn because if it's not just early pregnancy as she suspects then that could mean that I had a missed miscarriage :(. I'm worried sick. I pray everything is going well.

Sometimes at 7 wks you can't see anything. Did they do a vaginal ultrasound?

I just left doctor's office. They did an ultrasound and couldn't see anything. He thinks it was a miscarriage but took blood to check my hcg levels and I will find that out in the morning. But he's pretty sure I lost the baby! Please if you have any concerns about your spotting or bleeding, get checked out!

I am praying for us both too! I am sitting in the parking deck waiting for a call back from my nurse letting me know if I can come in yet or not. My sister used to work for my OB and she said he is in surgery on Thursday mornings so she said I should call the nurse first and wait for her to tell me when to come in. When I woke up this morning and went to the bathroom the toilet was filled with blood but I am still not cramping or having any pain really. So now I am trying to wait patiently in my car in the parking deck but my emotions are getting the best of me. I can't stop crying and I'm worried sick and I really want to just walk in there but my sister who was my OB's nurse up until May said it would do me no good and to wait for the nurse to call me back. Why am i the only one who seems to think this is an emergency?!?!

My cousin just told me the same exact thing.  I'm definitely going to get checked now. Thanks for your advice and I'm sorry for your loss.

I would be worried, I just went through a misscarriage and I started having cramping and spotting then it turned into red like a period. Go get an ultrasound to make sure everything is ok.

Im a rn. And they will tell you it's.a.threatened miscarriage if you go.to the hospital. They always use those terms to diagnose early bleeding in Pregnancy. So if you go dont freak out when they say it. But they will.most likely scare you and tell you to be prepared.for.this or that and say there's.nothing they can.do if it is a.miscarriage. goodluck

Its.totally normal! So don't freak out unless your bleeding heavily and bright red. Cramping.is common and so is.spotting. the brownish is.probably old blood. And the most.common reason for spotting in pregnancy is intercourse. I am 14 wks and 5 days. I've been spotting since 5wks and everything's.fine. I actually went to the er at 5wks bc of heavy bleeding and lots of pain. It turned out I had a cyst rupture and a hematoma all they could see was a yolk sac so I WS extremely scared until my.next apt. I went back at 7wks 5 days  and on that ultrasound I could see.my baby and its heartbeat. And my hematoma.was.almost gone. I'm now in 2nd trimester.still have.spotting but the heartbeats good. So its not anything.to.freak out about unless your in extreme pain. And bleeding like crazy.

I'm glad I have someone that I can relate too. I will be keeping you posted.  As soon as my fiancĂ© gets off of work... we are going to the hospital.  You can never be too sure. Something minor can actually be leading to something major. I'm praying for the both of us!

I am now seven weeks and three days and I just started having those exact same symptoms today at work. I'm not supposed to have my first doc appt until Tuesday and when I called today, the nurse assured me that it was normal and she didn't think I should come in unless I started to have unbearable cramps and bright red blood. But I'm still terrified something is wrong and I don't know who to talk to or where to go with these questions. Please let me know if you find anything out. I'm extremely nervous and scared that I'm going to miscarry.
