What were your signs or symptoms befor labor?

I'm a first-time mom to be at 37 weeks.  Everyone's labor stories are so different that I was wondering if any moms would share how they knew they were going to be or were going into labor. Did it happen out of nowhere or did you have a feeling ahead of time "this would be the day"? What were your signs and symptoms?

I woke up and wwnt pre and when I wiped there was a bit of my mucus plug with some blood. (I had sex before bed). I didnt feel any contractions just like pressure every 7 minutes didnt hurt. I called my doc she said to come in. And I was 8cm dilated!

The day I went into labor I had sooooo much discharge I thought it was a bit weird then that night my wayer broke and contractions started

I was induced with my first. Had my membranes stripped with my 2nd, had sex that night and woke up in labor at 2:30am. With my third, they told me I had excessive amniotic fluid. So, I had to go in for monitoring twice per week. My last monitoring appt, they strapped me up. 15 minutes after being monitored, the doctor came and told me I needed to go to the hospital because I was in labor! I had NO idea. My reaction? "When? When did that happen? How am I in labor right now? What the Hell???" Lol... A few hours later, my baby girl was here! I was induced with my fourth pregnancy. And now I'm just waiting on this lil one to make her appearance. 9 more days til EDD. All my other babies were early. But, I know from experience that every pregnancy is different. So, we shall see!

Mines I guess is kind of different!! I was at my mom house and we were laughing and joking about situations that happened in the past, I think I laughed so hard that when I leaned on the table I got stuck like I was a number "7" lbvs. I couldn't stand up after that because the contractions were bank to back. The ambulance pulled up and I was still standing the same way but they managed to lay me down. Got to the hospital and my water broke :-). My contractions were 3 minutes apart so I knee I was ready to go!!

I started getting contractions other than that nothing.

i was at a cookout doing perfectly fine with no pain or nothing i was eating a popsicle and decided to go for a walk and only made it too theend of the street and my water broke still not having any contractions that was with my first my second i just started having contractions around 12 midnight but i stayed in bed until they got worse around 3 then whent to wake my mom and dad up and my mom made me lay down for another hour to make sure i was in labor so i did that but when I started throw up and pooping i knew I was then woke them up again so as they got up and was getting ready my dad walked me outside and thats when my water broke by the time i got to the hospital i was dialated8cm had her in 45 min so its different and had both natural but don't think im doing the same for my son

My labors were pretty typical.  I started having mild contractions that gradually got stronger as time went on. I started timing them and once they got to five minutes apart I called my provider. Nothing really out of the ordinary to be honest.

With my son I kept feeling pressure and like I needed to poo but my midwife told me no. You would know if its labor went to bed and woke with contractions getting stronger n stronger. And my other son I was on the phone and thought I peed myself lol went toliet and it kept coming.  It was my waters but no contractions so was medically induced after 2days of leaking. But id more say with both it was out of know where. I woke up feeling the same as any other day :) every bodys so different each labor is different. .. not long now for you, all the best x

Unfortunately I cant help you as I though I was only having braxton hicks contractions turned out to be the real deal.   In hindsight I did do the nesting things pretty bad for 2 days before!
