What were your signs or symptoms before labor?

I'm a first-time mom to be at 37 weeks.  Everyone's labor stories are so different that I was wondering if any moms would share how they knew they were going to be or were going into labor. Did it happen out of nowhere or did you have a feeling ahead of time "this would be the day"? What were your signs and symptoms? How far along were you?

My first two pregnancies my labor was completely different.  My first I told a friend my stomach was hurting she asked if I was going into labor I told her idk! I told my son's father the same thing, he asked me the same question. I told him idk & tht I was gonna go hme and take a nap(went to bed around 4pm) woke up around 2 am and my stomach was hurting so bad I had my sis to take me to the hospital (my mom was still at work). Got to the hospital I was 3cm. Had my son around 10 tht morn. My second son I was sick! Everything I ate I could hold down. I walk to my bathroom and just stood facing the sink. Next thing I knew I was vomiting all over my poor sink! I tried to call my hubby over to help me but it was so bad I couldn't stop long enough to talk. So I banged on the wall til he came over! We went to the hospital the doc told me. We went to the hospital to see if I had stomach virus or something.....I was fine. The doc said he would induce me bc I was having contractions and I was almost a week past my due date.

I am pregnant with my fourth and so far my previous 3 pregnancies were somewhat the same for labor. I felt off like a yuck feeling all day, then eventually thought I was constipated due to lower back cramping. Afyer many failes attempts at not having a bowel movement I knew something was up. I began having speratoc contractions that I couldnt keep teack of because they were all over the map. But over the course of a few hours I was able to time them. Fpr ex every 15 minutes lasting 30 secs. Eventually it became tremendously painful and 5 minutes apart sp on and so forth.  I lost my mucus plug 2 days before. But my water never broke for any of mt pregnancies.  Each and every person is different and the onset of labor varies. I hope this helps a little bit. And remember the lower back pain when ur in labor is not because you have to poop lmfao

I had been losing my mucus plug for days and went to the doctor the day she was born to be checked, I think the doctor did a membrane sweep without really saying anything, and after that appointment began having really uncomfortable contractions. That night the contractions were 5 minutes apart so I had a feeling she was going to be on her way soon, I felt an internal pop and my water broke, strangest feeling that pop, and she was here 2 hours and 48 minutes after my water broke.

I went into labor in my due date but didn't deliver until the following day. I went into labor and didn't even know it. I wasn't having contractions that I could feel because all my labor pain was in my lower back. I kept saying my back hurt,  and hurt was an understatement. My mom finally came over and felt my belly for a while and said I definitely was having contractions. I never through my whole 24 hour labor felt contractions anywhere except my lower back. Labor can and fits feel different for everyone. Ask your Dr about all the different ways you can tell you are in labor.

For me, my mucus plug came out a lil on a Wed and by Sat night around 8pm the rest of it came out.  I started having menstrual like cramps around 1am Sunday morning.  By 5:30am they were strong and only 3mins apart lasting for about 60-90 secs each.  I went to the hospital by 6:30 am and was already 5cm dilated.  I had my baby 8.6 lbs by 1:45pm Sunday with an epidural.  He came 5 days before his date date.
