When to buy?

I want to start buying things for my nugget but I don't want to start too soon. I am only 11 weeks. When is the best time to start?

I would wait until the high risk to miscarriage has passed. However after that go crazy.

I bought my 1st item at 20 weeks when I confirmed the sex of the baby for the second time and assured everything was alright.

I waited until after my first  trimester...  The only thing I won't be buying before baby Comes is a highchair...  I herd a wives tale that it's bad luck  to but that until after lol

I waited till after the first trimester and found out the sex. I got the crib and some major things that were more expensive out of the way since i don't expect to really get those for my shower. I'm going to see what I still need after my shower and supplement then. Or use giftcards to put towards the things I still need. Congratulations!

I know you want to buy all the cute stuff now, I've been there, but diapers, wipes, and anything you don't mind in a neutral color would be the best thing right now. I bought a few onsies that were really neutral in my first trimester (last pregnancy) because I worked at OldNavy and had discounts there and at Gap. It was so hard to resist! I really wanted to wait though because I was hoping to get a lot of stuff from the baby shower. Most people can't resist buying clothes as gifts. It's nice having neutral things like our highchair and packnplay because now we're on our second pregnancy and I don't have to worry about gender colors. But, it's really just whatever you feel comfortable with.

Start as soon as you find out the sex! Lol If you dnt want to know the sex until birth buy anything unisex! You can NEVER start too early! ;)
