Anyone ever tried lactation cookies?

I have been seeing recipes and pre made cookies at baby stores and read a lot about them increasing milk supply. I had a lot of postpartum issues with my first daughter and gave up trying to breastfeed the first time around. I am 32.5 weeks pregnant with a son and really want to build a strong supply. Has anyone tried these with success?

I made a recipe with flaxseed and Brewers yeast. Worked great and tasted good too. A little more expensive to make than regular cookies due to the Brewers yeast and other special ingredients, but they last a while.
There are some really good resources include La Leche league which gives helpful articles on food and tricks to increasing supply. Pump when you can if baby doesn't take the other breast because it will stimulate milk production. When your breasts are empty while breastfeeding, your body is triggered to make more milk. When they are full or engorged, your body will slow production.
Also drink plenty of water...I was told by a lactation consultant to drink 100oz a day to maintain a good supply.  Some lactation consultants recommend supplements like Fenugreek which can help boost supply of it's low.
        Good luck
