Why am I still worried???

Hi, I am now 27 weeks pregnant with my first child. At 12 weeks we found out that the baby nt was high, 4 mm and was given 1:8 chance for DS. By 14+0 the nt was normal - 2mm. My blood work was also normal and change our odds to 1:50. We did NIPT test, amnio, microarray, fetal heart scan, torch blood work and many many anatomy scans, all of these tests came back clear. My baby boy is growing perfectly and no anomaly was found.

Also I have read some studies that says that high nt happens quite often in healthy male fetuses...

So why on earth am I still worried???!!!!

Thank you so much :)

I don't get why they do this test if so many couples get false positive, think of all the fetuses that was terminated due to high nt, most of them with no real health issues!

Its hard to relax! You're carrying a life inside you so you feel responsible if anything were to happen.
You won't be able to relax until you give birth and can see in the flesh that your baby is OK.
And even then the worrying doesn't stop. I think unless someone has been through something similar they don't quite get it.
Your baby will be perfect regardless of what happens and yes it is quite common to get a false positive on the nt testing.

Cause your a good mum and its normal to worry that something will go wrong even if there is nothing wrong.
