With a cold

Hello, have a quick question? I got a cold on Wednesday and now I am better just sill have a cough that is lingering. I was prescribed antibiotics just in case but I'm scared of taking them. Have any of you ladies have experienced a cold while pregnant and what did you do for it?

Too often antibiotics are prescribed for a viral infection. If you don't gave a high fever, its not a bacterial infection and antibiotics are useless. But if you are feeling better, i would say don't take them. Use grandmas recepies for your throat, mike warm milk with honey. I just finished 10 days of a bad cold but did not take any medication.

Ask your doctor. Everyone is different but I won't even eat cough drops right now. You never know if your baby can't have something
