Working in a warehouse while pregnant?
What do you guys think about working in a warehouse while pregnant? Do you think I should find a new job? It's just that it pays decent, and if I go find something else, it probably won't pay well. I've read some stuff online, and some say dont, some say it's okay, just be careful. I'm not sure what to do!
Well, they've really been cutting down on us lately, and making things ALOT harder. I haven't told them I'm pregnant yet, because I'm still a temp. Basically I pick car parts, and put them in totes. Some stuff can get heavy though. I'm not sure I will even be there much longer, since I, along with many others, aren't making production anymore.
Just be careful. When it gets hot in the summer, drink lots of water
I don't see why not. I used to work in a warehouse and it's definitely something I could have done while pregnant. Especially since as you say it does pay more than lots of other options!
