Hi if you arent breastfeeding anymore and starting to get yellow milk "colostrum" my lactation consultant told me never to pump before baby is born. Hope this helps. But in the meantime use breast pads to absorb the colostrum :)
Since you're still breastfeeding, I dont know what it is.
I honestly have no idea! I know colostrum is yellow but if you are still breastfeeding then I really can't answer. I would honestly call the lactation consultant at your local hospital or doc office and ask them. I would think they would know better than anyone. Sorry girls my milk never came in with my other two so after a week I had to switch to formula.
Really? Im only 7w 4d along and Im still breast feeding my 9 month old. My milk is a yellow color because Im producing colostrum? I dont know about that. Colostrum usually comes right before baby is born or right after. Im confused. From my understanding our milk changes as our baby gets older to suite to there needs. The question here is if we are still breast feeding our baby would the milk we pump be good for the baby, as it has changed so much?
I was wondering the same thing. So Im following this
