It's not too se.xy but when you need to pee do it standing in the bath or the shower... put the shower on warm-ish and spray it up onto you foof while you pee. Believe me after having 2 big babies and having 2nd degree tears with both of them I know how you feel and the shower does help soothe it :-)

My mom suggested the donut lol its hard to sit so I keep a blanket w me so I can prop myself up. I used a sitz bath it helped some. Dr said no real baths tho fear of infection since I have so many stitches.

That witch hazel is good, and even sitz herbs to go in baths, that speeds healing.

Yup ice! and the spray type bottle they sent home with you, use warm, and than COLD water. Keep on the motrin or ibuprofen anything that is an anti inflammatory.  And keep hydrated.  Congrats on a healthy baby!!! :-)

Fill the tub up with warm water and sit down and relax. It helps if you sit on a towel folded up on the bottom of tub so it is not as hard.... pain meds help but tylenol will due if your Dr is strict on the pain meds he gives out.
