Hes a small baby (6.11)but he came so fast I tore really bad its been a week so its getting better not as swollen. I use the water bottle they gave me and squirt it as I p lol and ive used the numbing spray they give like crazy. I have used almost three bottles I got from the hospital and I bought an extra:) the sitz bath is very helpful. Im loving being a mom hes so sweet.
It's not too se.xy but when you need to pee do it standing in the bath or the shower... put the shower on warm-ish and spray it up onto you foof while you pee. Believe me after having 2 big babies and having 2nd degree tears with both of them I know how you feel and the shower does help soothe it :-)
My mom suggested the donut lol its hard to sit so I keep a blanket w me so I can prop myself up. I used a sitz bath it helped some. Dr said no real baths tho fear of infection since I have so many stitches.
Thank goodness for this post it gave an idea to buy a inflatable donut
That witch hazel is good, and even sitz herbs to go in baths, that speeds healing.
I'm going to try the ice lol. My mom will let me use this ice pack she has. Im at her house and I don't have mirrors so I looked while I have been here....I shouldn't have looked...I love the numbing spray jus wish it lasted longer. This has been a rough preg im ready to heal and be normal.
Oh and with the warm bath add a little bit of epsom salts. Very healing.
Yup ice! and the spray type bottle they sent home with you, use warm, and than COLD water. Keep on the motrin or ibuprofen anything that is an anti inflammatory. And keep hydrated. Congrats on a healthy baby!!! :-)
Fill the tub up with warm water and sit down and relax. It helps if you sit on a towel folded up on the bottom of tub so it is not as hard.... pain meds help but tylenol will due if your Dr is strict on the pain meds he gives out.
Ice ice ice!!! Witch hazel and try some numbing spray for down there, my hospital here provides that! Thank goodness! Good luck and congrats!! :)
