You're so big!

I'm 26wks and I'm carrying my first baby (a boy). I'm so sick and tired of people and their comments. Everytime I see someone they say "you're big" , "you're not going to make it to your due date", "are you having twins" etc. Does people not understand that we don't want to hear that? Am I the only one that gets these remarks?

I've already heard all these comments too @ 22 weeks & honestly I feel like people love to rub it in that we're uncomfortable. People get off on other's pain & humiliation & even when we're so happy & blessed to be pregnant they want to upset us. Common sense tells you to never ever comment on a woman's figure in a negative way-especially extra hormonal women-the people that do are asking for us to snap on them!

I get the comments too. I'm 24 weeks and someone groped my bump telling me I won't make it past new year without a baby in my arms.

So, I then wonder at what point it is okay to talk about a pregnant woman's size/weight and touch her bump but not about size/weight of women in general.

I have to say, I have started putting people in their place regarding this as I wasn't tiny pre-pregnancy anyway!

I'm pretty sick of the comments too. Since when is it okay to openly comment on a woman's size.

Uggggh!!! It gets so annoying! (Ftm carrying twins.)   When I was around 22 weeks or so, ppl would say "ur so small" or "I was way bigger than you when I was 20 weeks, and I was just carrying one baby"...things like that. It drove me crazy!!! And now at 36 weeks ppl tell me "dang u hudge" ..."ur having a c-section, right" -.- I wish they could keep all their comments to themselves!!!!

I'm 27 weeks and I get that crap all the time. One guy in my history class whom I despise said that to me. That was the FIRST THING he said to me when I walked in the door. "Wow you're huge." I told him "I'm pregnant, what's your excuse?"
LOL
For other people, I try to turn it into a joke and say "yeah, shouldn't have eaten so much turkey on thanksgiving." I then proceed to give them the death stare

Haha 26 weeks here and I get exactly the same comments too. Screw them, I say. I've gained about 16 lbs, that's not too bad for 26 weeks. And the baby is actually measuring 4 days smaller so I might go late. I'm pregnant we get big that's what happens. The opposite irritates me though. I'll mention eating healthy food or select healthy food and everyone goes noooo you should splurge you are eating for two now. Yeah well you can't tell me I'm fat and then tell me that I should pig out on pizza and ice cream. Go away.

No I'm expecting my third boy and I'm  24 weeks 6days and ppl ALWAYS tell me "you're not gonna make it to your due date,"" are you sute it's just one baby," and whatever crap they think is appropriate to say. I hate it with a passion, I know I've been a nice size during my last two pregnancies but I don't want to hear ppl tell me how big I am! I already feel like a whale, don't need anyone pointing it out everyfive freaking minutes!!!! >:(
