Mojito for me.  I will breastfeed but will also partake in the pump and dump method.  Ha

I'm so ready for a sip of something it's not even funny. Every time I'm around liquor I just sniff bottles and glasses. Lol my family teases me and finds it hilarious. Unfortunately for me, it'll be a while before I can have anything because I too am breastfeeding

Its ok to have  ONE glass of wine if you want. Some people actually get prescribed wine to lower their blood pressure during pregnancy.  Stay away from hard alcohol.

@mrszap Really? Pumping And Dumping Isn't Necessary? I Hate To Sound Like An Alcoholic But Fantastic Lol. I Saw These Alcohol Detection Strips For Breastfeeding Moms To Test The Milk To Ensure There's No Alcohol In It After Drinking. They Were On Zulily But I Haven't Found Any Reviews On Them. Anyone Tried Them Out?

You are able to drink when breastfeeding. However you have to wait until the alcohol disapates from your breastmilk. This can be an hour to a few hours depending on alcohol percentages.  Talk to your doctor about it. No more pumping and dumping required. I would personally wait to over indulge until you have a feeding pattern.

I do can't wait lol. I'm breastfeeding but I'm due in may and don't plan on taking summer term classes so I can have all summer with my baby girl but one weekend during summer me and and my girls are gonna go camping for a weekend and I'm gonna ask my mom to watch my baby just for the weekend so i can have a little break. I'm going to be a single mom so that'll be the only weekend I'll get to myself and my friends without baby.

I'm craving Shocktop beer :)

PS - just pump some extra milk while sober, and you'll have it for your little one, when you enjoy a drink or two :)

I'm 23 and I have been craving a beer or even better a shot of patron. I as well will not be celebrating like I'd like to after my son is born. I'll tell you though boy do I need one been stressed and on edge. I only drink wen I'm around my family which is rare since they are back at home in Texas and I am in Washington.
