Sane thing I'm strep b positive.  I had 2 kids with no antibiotics both are amazingly healthy no issues.  My 3rd I made it in time for the iv and hopefully my 4th one I'll make it in time.  It means an extra day in the hospital for monitoring and an iv which you don't notice with all the craziness of giving birth.

I'm positive for it, the comment above is spot on, just a bacteria that lives in the vagina, it's nothing to worry about the only think they said to me was that if my water breaks I have to go straight to the hospital to start the IV so don't stress if your positive its nothing nasty

Its just a virus or bacteria found in the vagina & anus area its not a std or anything they swab you & if u test positive they give u antibiotics during delivery through IV so you won't pass it to baby if baby gets it then baby is on antibiotics as well I had it with only one pregnancy so far this is my 4th & I will be tested again this time I'm 32.1
