abdominal pain

I asked already in the 18- 24 age gap and didn't get a response. Hopefully someone here may have some advice.

Anyways I've been having regular sneezing fits and occasionally when I sneeze I have a sharp pain in my lower abdomen/ pelvic area.

I'm only seven weeks along and this is my first pregnancy.  Has anyone experienced this before and do you know what it is? I've heard of ligament stretching but I thought that didn't happen until at least the second or third trimester.

Pelvic pain that early can be scary, just be careful since its your first you will get to know your body... congrats!

It is coming when you sneeze?  I think its just compressing, it could also be gas. Sneezing fits can be strong. If I cough after Pilates class it hurts like He 'll.
If you are not having bleeding it is probably fine. But do mention it when you go in for your next appointment. They will be a pelvic exam

Thank you for the response. I have the traditional ache type of cramp on a regular basis that I'm not worried about. This is a sharp intense pull. Is that still considered just a cramp?

Sneezing and coughing are quite the ab workout. Cramping is normal, your uterus is expanding, so it is pressing on things and you are going to feel it when you sneeze or cough.
I was coughing a lot from allergies at 5 weeks. I'm 7 weeks now too. I have cramping
