Thank you for all the input! What seemed to work for me over the last couple of days is eating my main meal at 4 in the afternoon and then I only have some fruit in the evening and finish off with a banana. Bananas seem to really make a difference!
Lemon water is a natural way. It also will help balance bacteria in your system
I tried several things that worked: sleeping a bit more upright, eating small meals often throughout the day, hot ginger tea, NO spicy food, and I drank lemon water in the mornings. Hope that helps!
My doctor recommends Zantac and tums. However, a friend recommended almonds.
If you're at the end of your pregnancy, the problem is that as all your ligaments loosen up, so does the top closure of your stomach where it connects to your esophagus. So your stomach acid isn't held down in your stomach, and your stomach isn't very big anyway. So in that case, if you don't want to take something your best bet is just to eat more small meals. Even eat half your dinner, wait half an hour and then eat the rest. Good luck, hope you feel better!
Ranitidine. Pharmacy gave it to me works wonders
Pepcid ac works very good and fast!
Zantac before bed is the only thing that works for me, otherwise I wake up in pain 5 times a night.
I was just told by another mom she eats a small apple and it works for her. I'm going to try it before bed
Thank you ladies! Will ask doctor about zantac on Monday as I don't want to take it without checking with Dr first. And just not eat until then :-(
Zantac is the only thing that has worked!
Zantac had to get a prescription from my dr
I tried Tums to. Seems to work
Zantac, it's the only thing that worked for me
