Nexium!! Best thing ever! Save while pregnant AND breastfeeding. It's expensive but definitely worth the money for the relief!!
I use the Walmart off brand of tums, 3 in the morning and 3 at night right before bed. Prop up on a pillow so your head is higher than your body. I also drink milk occasionally through the day when I start to feel some acid coming.
Zantac was my absolute life saver with my second pregnancy
Walmart brand Zantac per Dr I take 2 generic a day sometimes. And tums. I was told by someone pickle juice worked by just taking a sip???
My dr said only thing to.take for.it is tums not rolaids but tums so I buy the equate brand at walmart a lot cheaper and I take three at a time works for few hours anyway lol with my first child she had so much hair I was going through them like crazy good luck
I eat Tums like they're going out of style. Lol. And, I know it sounds strange, but snacking on papaya has really helped too. Since I'm in charge of the grocery shopping/cooking, I've also adjusted what we eat to avoid foods that cause acid reflux, especially tomato and pasta sauce. Also, don't lie down for awhile after you eat. Give your food sometime to digest. And don't drink any water before bed. It just comes right back up.
Yes I agree with the poster above. Dont lie flat! I bought this thing I read about called a snugaloo. It is awesome. It is a huge body pillow that helps you sleep in pregnancy. :) Good luck!!! :) Tums are also my friends. Lol.
I'm not sure if you can get where you are but I use gaviscon and swear by it. Doctors and midwives prescribe it. Just normal antiacid tablet/chews work aswell. Also try propping yourself up so you're not laying totally flat.
Maelox Antacid from Walgreens was my life saver. I seriously used it day and night through my pregnancy.
Cold milk isn't helping me I been up all night with heart burn acid reflux.I'm almost 39 weeks and I am going crazy and wanna sleep.
Drink cold milk before bed. This helps :)
