acid reflux!

Ugh!!! I have never had heart burn or acid reflux before until I got pregnant! It's so bad! It's more reflux than anything! It's an everyday thing now and even if I watch what I eat I swear it still happens. I think it's getting worse! I drink milk, water, take antacids, lay on my left side!!! What else can I do?! Nothing helps anymore!

Thank you ladies so much! Milk used to help but it doesn't anymore! And I've heard of the baking soda and water but just don't think that's all to good for the baby. My mother in law tells me a spoon full of honey will help but I hate honey! And my son better come out with a lot of hair after all this suffering lol. My husband and I both have a ton of thick hair our selves and so does my step daughters! I want him to have hair like the 4 of us! I think I'll be really disappointed if he doesn't after all of this heart burn and acid reflux!

I use essential oils. Lemon oil is my life saver. Just a few drops in water and I enjoy that all day.

I vomit daily from mine. Mints help. I talk heartburn pills daily and allergy pills since I vomit a lot of flemy stuff.

Try water with baking soda. My mother-in-law swears by it but I refuse to try it because I hate the taste of it.

I feel ya! Never had it until pregnancy & mine also is mostly acide reflux. It gets to the point where I'm coughing & almost throwing up. Zantac 75 helps & my doc said it won't do anything to harm the baby. I'm getting it late afternoon/evening & have to take it daily, typically before dinner. The negative part is that you have to take it ahead of time, but sometimes you don't know when that is. I've been lucky mine is typically around the same time to help with that.
