I am in first trimester and have acrylic nails, should I have them removed? I just recently found out that I am pregnant.

My OB suggest not to have them  in the first trimester but I kno plenty of people who kept them on the whole pregnancy. I did get mine removed and kept them off and my nails are stronger and longer than ever cuz of the prenatal vitamins.

Just make sure your salon has good ventilation and it doesn't smell too strong when you go.  Other than that enjoy!

You mght find that due to hormones and prenatal vitamins your nails grow faster so the fill ins become more frequent.
