allergies/nasal congestion

Need advice, anything to help the congestion. My nose has been stuffy for a good two weeks. I have awful allergies,  so I've been taking zyrtec. After that didn't help, I talked to the doctor,  they told me to take mucinex and sudafed. Took those and still stuffed. Took antibiotics thinking it was an infection and I received no results. I am 5 weeks pregnant since yesterday and wondering if it has anything to do with the pregnancy.  Has anyone experienced this, if so, what did you do that helped?

I used Sinus Rinse - it works really well.
just have to get over the thought of squirting water up your nose

your nasal passages do swell during pregnancy, making you more stuffy

I have really bad allergies and can usually get away with just Zyrtec but this year they are way worse and my doc told me to switch it up and try Claritin or Allegra the Allegra seems to work the best when I also take a sudafed  but don't take the combo one just plan Allegra and plain sudafed. Helped me tons

Decongestant nasal sprays work great-talk to your doc about which ones are safe & won't conflict with meds you are already on.
