annoyed with boyfriend rant

Normally my boyfriend goes and plays hockey every Monday night. His games normally start around 8 or 9 and he has to leave the house around 7PM to make it on time. We both agreed that when I went full term that he would take a break from hockey in case I go Into Labor. I get that he loves his hockey but it infuriates me that he is still going to play tn. He knows how pissed I am that he is going to play tn. When Jr should be home with us. If I go into labor I won't be able to get ahold of him till his game is over. I just feel he's being very selfish and he should be home with us. I don't know if its the hormones or I'm really upset about this. Especially cause it is just an adult league, its not like its professional hockey. GRRRRRRRR

Chanieb I made that comment to him tn "it must be nice to go and do whatever you want because if you were 37 weeks pregnant you sure wouldn't be playing hockey". I guess that's why I feel he's being selfish. As women we give up a lot to carry our babies and I'm not complaining, I wanted this baby more than anything but its so frustrating when he can't give up a few Mondays of playing hockey in case I go into labor or something happens..sigh

I understand how u feel my husband does the same thing...he fights at a gym and he goes almost every day to practice...it drives me nuts but I just had to learn to deal with it. He claims that's the only time he has to himself and he feels better after he works out but all I can think about is when do I get time to myself NEVER. Men are selfish plus he's 27 and has maturing to do if u ask me.

I get that, that's why we agreed he would play up until I was full term. I'm 37 weeks now and we got in a fight about earlier this afternoon and he still came home from work got his stuff and left to play hockey. Like I said if something were to happen I wouldn't be able to gt ahold of him for hrs till his game is over.

Maybe he's trying to play while he can? I'm sure he knows that once baby comes he won't really get to play anymore.
