anxiety

I have anxiety and had to quit my meds when I found out I was pregnant. Any recommendations to keep this and the mod swings at a reasonable/controlled level?

I was having horrible anxiety. From the time I woke up in the morning until the time I went to bed, I would feel in this fight or flight mode. I took preservatives out of my family's diet, mainly because my little girl was having trouble with adhd and I read it could help. I noticed a small difference in her after a couple of days and a big diff. after two weeks. About a month later, I realized I was no longer having anxiety. It just went away. I have noticed if I eat fast food or something else with lots of preservatives, the anxiety will return on top of being very emotional. Let me know if you want help in finding, preservative free foods.

I am in your shoes.....I quit my paxil when I found out. I know what you are going through. I have been slowly feeling it return and question going on a low dose if something else. My doc gave me prozac saysIit is safe.....but I haven't taken it. I just can't stand the constant tense feeling and at times shortness of breath from panic. Ugh! I have tried everything. I am 10 weeks 5 days today!

I've never been on meds for my anxiety. I've had it for 10 years now. but eating, sleeping and exercising helps me. I'm 30 weeks with bub number 6 and it is hard not to feel and be anxious. but talking to people does help.
