Has anyone tried it to help induce labor? Did it work or help at all?

I think its an old wives tale... With my last pregnancy I ate pineapple like I was a heroin addict lol no lie throughout my entire pregnancy... One of my cravings and I went full term with her... She is 8 now.... And tbh it got rid of my heartburn lol.... I even tried castor oil... Ugh... That sh it made me do just that and it was a horrible 2 days... Didn't go into labour for 2 weeks after that.... Sex and stairs seem to be the most common I see

From what my midwife said to me you would have to eat a hell of alot of it to even try and kick start labour. My friend ate tones and it just gave her bad acid and constant trips to the bathroom x

I didn't try it for induction purposes, I just ate some. I'm only 34+3 but it did nothing for me.
