So first off im in canada so names of stuff might bedifferent but the stuff I was told to take is called  floradix (manufacturer salas) it can only be purchased at a health food store. I am taking 15ml twice a day. My midwife told me to take it with orange juice so I sip the orange juice then take it like a shot lol and chug the rest of the orange juice it doesnt taste good at all and smells horrible but they recommend it here because it digests way better than pills and doesnt make you constipated.

I'm just shy of 33 weeks and was told I am severely anemic as well and due to having a planned c section she said I will have to have a blood transfusion after. I'm also on daily iron like crazy now

Hello I'm Monica and my husband and I are having our forth child. I was told that I'm anemia and my blood level is 8.6 which is very low. I have to take 3x iron pills a day with a stool softer plus pernatal pills. I also will purchase spinach, kale, beans, meat, broccoli which are rich in iron. Oysters are also rich in iron.

I honestly couldn't handle the iron pills. They were prescribed 3x a day because I was underweight and my anemia was 7.9 too low. After terrible constipation numerous stool softeners and a frigging hemorrhoid. I switched my eating habits, I've increased my iron intake with beans, Lentils, garbanzo beans. Spinach,  kale more meats. Strawberries, broccoli. Almonds I'm drinking whole milk and the last thing I've been hooked on Boost plus. I am 38 weeks 3 days and I am at hemoglobin 15.9 almost 16. Yay! No more pills for me I tried 4 different variations of it and none of them settled with me.

I had to take huge horse pills with my son. I felt good as long as you take your pill.
