Hello ladies :). I was just interested to find out, how many of you have had an epidural, how long does the pain relief last and would you recommend one??

I'm so scared.  I just want it as an option, do you have to stay in hospital longer if you've had it??

I've had two. The first worked great, but the second time did not and I could feel everything. I plan on having it this time around and hopefully it works as good as the first time.

I had 1 my first and third odor but not my second. ..I dreaded not using it the second time but I felt so much different and better after that delivery than I did the first (no back pains at all afterwards) It did last the 2 times I did have it. Should this labor go like my second, super fast I'll opt out of getting it BUT if it's a slow 1... I'm signing the papers for that needle

I have had it 2 times and will again this pregnancy my legs were numb maybe an hour after birth but were fine after that. The pain I couldn't handle and the epidural takes the edge off I still felt the pressure of the baby and knew when to push I think its heaven sent personally lol

I did and I will again! It last as long as u want there is a button u push to get more meds but I didn't know that till after I delivered and my sis pushed the button!  Smh! Lol but I felt enough to push and all that good stuff just missed out on the pain but I got my fair share cause I was dilated to a 6 when I finally got it! And it was a huge relief!
