All my blood work has been low the hole pregnancy. 35+3 and going strong. Just did a blood draw Monday will find out Monday if it's all OK or sooner if it's important.

Good luck with your blood work. It's weird I've had pretty normal work ups until third trimester I keep getting dehydrated it's like I can't keep up

My sister had low platetes count during her pregnancy but they were big her Dr was worried that that would make her a bleeder so when she went into labor they wouldn't let her have anything for pain, she had to do it all natural. So I would definitely talk to your Dr about that.

I have low platelets. They have me checking them every week. My doctor said it's normal for pregnant women to have low platelets, as long as they don't get too low (under 75 or so). He said if they drop to the 70's then they won't give you the epidural. Good luck!

Just an FYI most anesthesiologists won't do an epidural or spinal if platelets are below 90. If they are conservative they won't place below 100. There are too many risks if they are too low. Normal is above 120 range. I would check with anesthesia and not with your ob in regards to the hospital policy. I work as a RN in l&d and the lowest I ever saw an epidural placed was 85 and he was a super laid back provider.  I highly doubt any anesthesiologist would place one under 75. OP what are your platelets running?
