anyone having irregular contractions?

Hi everyone, I'm 36 +4  days for the past 3 days I've been having frequent contractions between 5-10min apart for about 2 hours and then they stop! This is very frustrating!. Anyone else in the same boat ?

The monitor the baby heartbeat and contractions I've been getting the stress test for the last two weeks I'll be getting a c-section on Sunday when I turn 39wks

A non stress test is just monitoring the baby's heart beat, movement, and your contractions (if any) for 20-60min, usually. Just making sure things are relatively normal, like the heart beat being steady and consistent, etc. I ate ice and played on my phone. Though a woman had her baby that hour while I was there..kind of awesome!

I guess once we're in actual labor hopefully we will know the difference huh? LOL.
I also live 5 min away from the hospital so that's a good thing.

I'm 38w and yes, been having these for a week now. It's so confusing. I went in for a non stress test today and had them the entire time. The nurse was like, oh look at that, then I told her, yeah and watch they'll stop soon. Lol. I'm basically ignoring the timing right now and waiting for them to progress in intensity. Thankfully, I live only a couple minutes from the hospital, so I can hold out a while. I can't imagine you moms that have longer drives and then contractions just stop... sooo frustrating!
