at a loss with my boyfriend
I am beyond frustrated with my boyfriend right now. I am 36 weeks barely dilated and cervix is "soft" thr dr told us today to have sex to help progress things along and he is refusing. I can count on one hand how many times we've had sex since finding out we were expecting in August. It's been getting to me the whole time but I have been managing. Now I am just pissed honestly. I already feel miserable and unattractive and ugly and he won't even touch me. Wonderful. I have no idea what to even do at this point.
Guys have this fear that they will somehow hurt the baby, which they can't. That could be what bothers him? You should ask and see.
Have you tried to get him to open up about why? Just be sure to seem calm and level headed when asking so he won't be afraid of saying "the wrong thing"
It'll get better soon.... Hang in there. Remember your body has never done something as beautiful as a child. And men are scared sometimes or 'donkeys.'
