Also don't wash too much! My sister washed a whole mess of clothes and my nephew barely wore any of it. Especially newborn stuff. Wash a few stuff at a time
Any of u ladies dry ur baby clothes in a dryer. I hav a friend who owns a launderette she was tellin me the baby clothes shrink in that. How true is it?

Dreft is definitely good but All free and clear is great too and cheaper :) like someone mentioned esp Dan's club to buy it. I just buy mine at meijer try to buy when I have coupons and or on sale.
Walmart, frys, target, kmart....All sell dreft.
Dreft. Babies r us carries it
I like baby all... Its a lot cheaper than dreft and it always took my daughters spit up stains out... I buy it at walmart
Never heard of dreft where can it b bought frim if Im in uk
I used Dreft with my son and will again this time.
Thanx ladies really appreciate ur help :)
I used dreft. Plan to use it when I need to wash his clothes before he comes.
you want something that is unscented and do not use fabric softener or dryer sheets. Babies are very sensitive anything with scent can be itchy as can the chemicals in fabric softener.
I'd suggest All free and clear or Method (free and clear - forget what the call it exactly - it is from Target) Kirkland unscented is good too.
if you want the cloths softer - you can get this dryer balls with the little spiky things - they work really well and save you money! (i get really itchy from dryer sheets - so i use the balls)
I use all free and clear. Any detergent is fine that is free of dyes and perfumes. A lot of mom's use dreft but if you buy All free and clear at Sams club, cosco. ..It's very cheap. I don't use fabric softners.
