Hi
I am 35 weeks pregnant .yesterday i had ultrasound n my doctor told me the baby is head down but facing my tummy instead of my back.
They want the baby to b anterior .how can o make her flip.
Any moms had normal delivery with baby being posterior.
Thanks

I think mine recently flipped to posterior - used to always feel her big hard back and butt poking out but now its softer and just not a solid firmness, plus more backache. Try googling ways to turn a baby back around. Some things I reqd included crawling on all 4s for 30+ minutes, getting on all 4s and wagging your hips back and forth, keeping head low and butt high... Anything to give baby lots of room to move and fall back away from the pelvis and motions to encourage her to turn over. I did read that putting your feet up makes babies want to flip back to back so maybe avoid that. Going to ask some people at the hospital next time I go for advice also.

My first was posterior, also over 10lb and much longer than average. Labour was very long and very painful. But every pregnancy, labour and birth are different.

Anterior/posterior isn't a reason for a c-section, don't worry, aisha!

As for turning her, try things that give her lots of room like hands and knees.  Babies very often turn during labor, too, when they're posterior.

Look up ways to deal with back labor, because it can be quite a but more painful since you have baby's hard skull on your lower spine instead of her Soft face.

I have anterior placenta n I heard that the baby likes to face the placenta. My doc told me to lay down on my right  side to flip the baby. But in still worried if the baby don't flip I end up with csec. I want normal delivery.

My daughter was posterior.  The back labor was excruciating but it wasn't too hard to deliver her. I'm not sure what you can do to turn baby.

My first was born back to back, we didn't know until he was crowning. I had no complications and everything was fine but it is harder to push. I'm sure everything will be fine if your little one doesn't turn round but I'm sure there's exercises such as getting on to all fours for example. And babies can turn on their way out too, in fact I think that's what happened with me because his bottom always stuck out under my ribs during pregnancy so there's still time :)
