My baby gets hick ups a lot a couple of times a day I wonder if that's OK since it gets painful for any grown person after having them for a while ... What should I avoid or do to help him out I'm 37 weeks almost there .
Thanks ladies I was concerned about it giving him discomfort since they are annoying after a while
My son got them 2-3 times a day when i was pregnant with him. My gyno had said it was completely normal. Hes now 5 months and gets them every so often :)
This is very normal for babies and most likely doesn't cause the any discomfort. Talk to your doctor about it but it's a natural occurrence with babies in utero. Nothing you can do to avoid it as it involves the amniotic fluid. It is not dangerous and almost every expectant mom will experience them with their baby. good luck
