Hi ,I'm 27 weeks pregnant and it's my first baby and me and my mom we didn't really have a great connection i always kept everything to myself but now that I'm Pregnant and having a babygirl (i feel like i need to be w my mom even when i just saw her i start missing her. Is like a baby that just want to be with her mom or dad.

I know exactly how you feel. I never really had a close relationship with my mom but now that I'm having my first baby she has literally become my best friend. I'm with her 24/7 cause if not I start missing her. Hubby has been wanting to do a little get away throughout my whole pregnancy I'm 28 weeks. But it just hasn't happened cause I know I'll miss my mom. Its like a baby needing its mommy is exactly what I always compare it to. The feeling is kind of unexplainable. My mom does EVERYTHING for me. She knows exactly what to feed me. She rubs me feet & back. I'd be nothing without her. So enjoy your parents right now that you're feeling this way & always. I'm sure your little bundle of joy will forever keep you guys together.

My parents and I didn't have the greatest relationship when I was growing up. It wasn't until I gave birth to my son that I had this new found respect and admiration for my parents. I feel that I understand a bit better where they were coming for and the things they were doing as I was growing up was in my best interest.
My parents are definitely my best mates now.

Im having a boy and i feel closer to my mom. And youre right, its like a child wanting their parent. My mom actually rubs down my back or feet whenever Im not feeling well and its definitely a bonding experience ive never felt with her before.

I would say its normal. Even if you were having a boy I think it would be normal. Now why you feel that way really only you can figure that out.
