pls answer. (help calm me)
Well mom's I'm over my due date. I have an appt next Tuesday and that will put me at 41+1... if my baby hasn't made her appearance by then is when they'll talk about induction... my doctor just absolutely believes if she induces me now I'll end up having a c section... so if I get induced that'll put me at 42 weeks... I know have to do stress tests since.I'm over... I know typically you can go over but... for the already mom's or anyone who knows, how was your baby after being delievered? Any risks or complications? Advice or anythinggggg??
I was 5 days overdue with my first so they started doing stress tests daily. The first was fine, but the second the found he didn't have enough fluid around him, so they induced me. No problems with delivery, or baby afterwards. He is now almost 11 and no problems. As long as your Dr is making sure you and baby at healthy and you feel everything is OK trust that. But I always say trust your mother instincts. If you feel something is wrong don't keep quiet.
My wee boy was 10 days late when he was born. I was due to go in the day i had hime to get induced. He was totally fine no side effect from being late. Don't worry if they weren't happy they would induce you sooner rather than later. Just relax and enjoy your time before baby arrives.
Yeah my midwife is more on the fence of Me going to almost 42 wks. I thought it would put more stress on baby going that far over..
I was induced at exactly 41 weeks with my first and gave birth to a healthy 9 pound 7 ounce boy naturally. I'm being induced at 39 weeks with this baby and she is expected to be the same size as my first.
I thought 40 weeks is the limit or you'll get induced. My first pregnancy water broke at 36, now with my daughter I have a higher chance to go earlier but in your case everyone I know they didn't go over 40 because they got induced
I was induced two weeks early due to pre eclampsia with my first and was close to having a c sec due to him getting distressed. They let me carry on and had him natural and he a very healthy boy. He now two and a half and I've had no health issues with him. I know quiet a few mums that had to be induced as went over and their babies are fine xx
