Im 26 weeks and i have a chest cold plus i have asthma so mine is worse. My doc gave me an antibiotic but Humidifier or boiling water, turn ur shower full blown hot.. put a towel in crack of door and just stand in the bathroom breathing in the steam! Those are some things that help me a lil bit.

The best they could do is Monday, so I have to wait bit I can't breathe without coughing up my lungs! My Dr said I can take sudafed but I'm not okay with taking that. I was hoping maybe somebody had something more natural.

I had one too. The short and sad answer is nothing. In the first trimester, you really shouldn't take anything.

Natural stuff would be okay if you want to try it...vitamin supplements...things of that nature. But no medication. I got another cold later in my pregnancy and was at that point able to take some Sudafed. (I only took it twice, when I couldn't handle it anymore, before I was over it.)

I would call and make an appt with your primary, they know what you can and can't take while pregnant. Good luck and feel better soon!!
