Hi everyone,

I just found out that I am pregnant with my first baby.  I want to buy a book, but there are so many out there any so many reviews that say different things. Let me know what everyone's favorite is!

I read the Mayo Clinics guide to pregnancy. It was ok, very clinical and dry. By accident, I found a blog called the Pregnant Chicken. She is hilarious and sarcastic, but also eased a lot of my pregnancy fears and concerns.

I read the girlfriend's guide to pregnancy. Was a good read and made me laugh a few times but also has good info about what to expect during your pregnancy.

What to expect when expecting is awful... The author has no credentials, just a very good publisher and marketing team. There are so many better books out there written by doctors who are also parents and know what they're talking about
