Protection may be your best bet. Ive been w. My man for a year and i rather not use protection so i feel like birth control is my best bet but like the comment above I've heard some not so good stories on it:/ looks like i have some thinking do too lol i def don't want to get preg fast either after i have my baby

If I do birth control, I'm going with the good ol fashion pill. Tried the depo shot and it made me crazy with a nonstop period. Then got the patch and wound up pregnant with my first son. My husband doesn't like condoms and my mom thinks I should tie my tubes...I'm not on board with either of them so it'll probably b the pill. Everything else scares me and two little ones in diapers r enough for now.

Someone asked about mirena the other day and couple ppl said one of them was on recall. And many others had very bad things to say about. Idk personally as ill never use an iud bc I personally dont want something in my vagina that could imbed and cause me to need a hysterectomy. That just happened to a friend of mine a few months ago. And I just dont like the idea Of something being in there. I loved my implanon. And if my husband wasn't getting a vasectomy after our daughter is born id get it again. But he doesnt want me to have to be on bc forever.

I got the Mirena six weeks after my son was born and had it in for four years.

I loved it! I had no symptoms at all. After I have this baby, I'm getting my tubes tied.

Two friends of mine went on Mirena and started having premenopausal symptoms due yo it.I went on an only progesterone pill and did fine (but my periods were always short and not heavy with no cramping) so ot always depends on ypur own period.

I had it. Had major hair loss, depression, loss of Libido and plenty of other issues. When I had it removed, it got stuck and had to be yanked out. Nearly had to have surgery. With in two months of removal, all my symptoms went away.

I was on birth control for numerous years. I have read some bad stuff about being on it for long periods at a time. I just don't feel it's natural for a woman so I never will be getting back on it...
