birth control

Okay so I was going to get the implant in the arm that lasts for 3 years BUT in found out that it causes a lot of weight gain and mood swings worse than other birth control. So in looking for other options. I'm not up for getting fixed and neither is my husband. I'm horrible with Taking pills and the iud insert scares the heck out of me. Please help me. Which ones do u ladies like?

Implanon was the one that I was going to get. But then I heard my dr say that a lot of women had weight gain and mood swings. Maybe I should give it a try but yes the iud is a definite no! He said he just had to Remove one on a woman that got pregnant on it. That sounds dangerous

I had the implanon for the full 3 years had no issues and LOVED it.  Considering doing it again aver baby is born. I refuse to do an ID.  I have just heard terrible things about it and not a month ago my boss was rushed to the ER and had emergency surgery cause her IUD went through the uterine wall.  Scares the crap outta me.  I have heard great things about the patch though I can't use it cause of allergies and also have had success with the nuva ring.
