birthing partners??

I thought it would be good if everyone said who there birthing partner/s are or were, and if your still happy with your choice?? Or if you've had problems with it all?

I am allowed only one person...my husband!! It's our 7th child, our 7th cesarean delivery and I wouldn't allow anyone else even if I had that choice. My husband is my first and only pick!!

Just my husband first time and planning on just him this time.

1st time was just my son's father. I had a c section and dr didnt permit anyone else.

This time it will be my husband and possibly his mother. I really dont want his mother in there while im pushing but I havent figured out exactly how to tell her that. She's a bit crazy and this is her 1st grandchild.... I feel kind of obligated to let her be there smh

My husband and my mother were there for our first. Next time around I plan to have a home birth so we'll have more people probably. Husband, son, mother, doula, my best friend (who will be watching the kiddo if he's not interested in sticking around watching the process), my sister if she can make it (she lives several hours away), mother-in-law if she wants to be there... it'll be busy but everyone will have a job to do.

I'm pregnant with my first, but I plan on it being just my husband with me.  I'm sure my parents and sister will be in the waiting room.   His family is in England, and his grandmother is in too bad off shape to make that long trip.

with my first i wanted. just my bf. but bc everything happened so fast and my dad being a slick ***... him and my mom bith stayed. I told my mom to take pics and my dad was to video tape.... now ask me how great the. video turned out how.may pics I have of my bf cutting the cord and the doctor showing us it was a girl the first time...
yup you guessed it nothing none ZILCH!  Iwas so disappointed. They know better to ask this time around!

Just my husband the first time round and it will be only him again this time. Just the way I like it :)

I had my husband, his mother and a friend For first. Hubby, same friend and my brothers wife for second. Husband, and my first two children for third. Husband and first three children for my fourth. Nobody but midwife for my fifth. This one I plan for my husband and all five children to be there.

I want my husband and my oldest sister really great support I got from them the last time they were by my side ;) hope they want to make me company this time around again ;)

my hubby for sure. I asked my mum but she said she'll probably faint and rather wait outside. but I'm thinking who could film the whole thing for me?! not hubby cuz I want him on camera too. could I ask a member of staff? is it allowed to video tape the birth?

only my husband was there. I didn't want him to go at first, but he made it clear that he will be there. I am very happy now that he was with me. I wouldn't want anybody else though.

My birthing partners are my partner and my mum, as I'm only 21, when I fell pregnant I automatically Said my mum could be there as I believed I would need her there but now I wish I waited till the end of my pregnancy as I wish it could be just me and my bf. But I would never take that away from my mum now! Learn from my mistake and don't say people can there until the end lol
