Okay, thank you everyone : )
I had both my prior ultrasounds done at 15 weeks, one for a boy and years later for a girl. Both were accurate and I plan on doing the same with this pregnancy. I love those ultrasound places!! I can never wait.
I found out with both my children at the down syndrome testing ultrasound. And that was at like 13/14 weeks. Of course we went back for the 18wk ultrasound to make 100% sure. And both were right.
With a previous pregnancy, I found out at 14 weeks and it was accurate.
When I had a sonogram at 16 weeks I asked her to guess and she said she wasn't sure but right then it looked like a girl. When I went back in at 18 weeks for the anatomy scan it turns out she was wrong and we're having a boy. So I would say wait until 20 weeks. I know there's a way to do it through a blood test instead of a sonogram but I'm not sure how much that costs to do.
My wife and I did that at 16 weeks and we could see plain as day she's a girl.
