birthing pool for labor

I'm not having an at home birth but I was considering getting a birthing pool to labor at home in until I go to the hospital (my tub is not big enough).  I refuse to be induced again and want to go into labor naturally and at home for as long as possible.  Thoughts?  The pool I want is kind of expensive so I'm not sure yet.

Why not just get a kiddie pool and put hot water in it? I'm doing homebirth and that's what my midwife suggested to actually birth in if I wanted an inexpensive water birth.  They sell liners on Amazon or aqua souls or inhishands.com if you wanted a liner in the kiddie pool too.  The birth pools are like $300 to rent from aqua doula.
