bleeding :(

Went to the ER yesterday. I'm about 5 weeks and had been spotting but my OB wasn't concerned. Well the spotting turned into bleeding like a period and basically they couldn't tell me anything because I'm not far enough to see much. (Could see a sac, but no "pole" inside) Have to go back in a couple days to see if HCG is rising. Im so sad/scared! Has anyone experienced this and not miscarried??

I had period like bleeding at 8 weeks, but was able to see baby. It stopped at and 12 weeks and I'm 33 weeks now. I'll be meeting my (3rd) little girl in about 40 days. I had a miscarriage prior, so it was frightening. Try to remain calm until you know more.

Thanks guys. I know if the worst happens it's for the better. Definitely going to take it easy for a while, and hope and pray he/she will be okay in there! The waiting game is not going to be fun that's for sure.

I experienced it and unfortunately I did have a miscarriage. When that happens it's  a sign that the baby was not developing properly. Keep your fingers crossed anything is possible. I did get pregnant about 6 months later with my soon to be 5 year old. Try and rest and stay off of tour feet as much as possible
