It could be nothing but it could be something.i had bleeding in the begining and i ignored cuz evetyone said not to worry bout it and it ended up being something i had to see a specialist for and be on bed rest. Better to be safe then sorry,.

Hi thank you for your replies. Havnt really bled much for a pad. Its mainly when i wipe *sorry tmi* it is red. Period lookin blood. My mum said she bled her whole pregnancy and i am trying not to worry. I think any blood in pregnancy is scary especially bein a first time mum. I bleed some early. However if your not bleeding to fill a large thick pad it's okay. If you do start having major cramping and bleeding too head to the ER. At 5 weeks a scan might cause you more worry than good. Scans should be done between 7-8 weeks. Any scans before its too hard too see. I found blood upto 13 weeks. I am 34 weeks now.

Go to a&e and they should do a blood test. I've misscarried 5 times. I'm 9-10 weeks at the moment and spotted at around 6 weeks but only for a couple of days and wasn't what I would call blood. If it is red blood then go to a&e to be sure otherwise you will only worry yourself sick.
