I'm glad to know that people have gone on to have healthy children after this. Woke up to no blood today! Little bit of spotting I guess, but looks like old blood color. Helped improve my mood free a bit ! Just headachy /cough to get rid of now xxx
Always call your doctor first, especially since you've had a history of complications. However, I bled a couple times during my first tri, again once during my second, and had old blood appear during the third. It was just because I've always been a heavy flow girl before, and my body was still going through the motions. I have a girlfriend who had her period throughout 8 months of hers, and she gave birth to a healthy little boy just fine.
I'm full of a head cold and cough so feel awful anyway. Everyone around me is putting me on rest due to my previous losses which I understand but drives me nuts.
I'm glad it hasn't happened for a while for you and that you can go about normally. :-)
I'm hoping I'll have no bleeding tonight/early hours of the morning. I think because of everything its just afded to my already existing anxiety. Xxx
At the beginning I was very scared... I kept calling the doc and telling him when I went to my appt. But after a few I just learned to just give it a few hours to completely stop and sometimes it took over night and then had some brownish spotting which my doc explained it was old blood. So at least that meant the bleeding had stop. But my doc kept telling me that any bleeding less then filling up a pad within an hour is considered spotting. So unless I had that I didn't have to go in. I'm hopping that is the case for u also. I haven't had any bleeding at all now for a few months. I was never placed on bed rest either. And continued with my exercise routine throughout my entire pregnancy. Without any complications except the occasional bleeding from my cervix. But yes rest until ur doc checks u and figures out what is causing u to bleed. It may or may not need bed rest but he will let u know. And good luck.
Yea I had a miscarriage right before this pregnancy an dive been on edge the whole time. When I bled the first time I starting going into a panic attack thinking I was losing the baby. Just know it could be something manageable. Just because there's blood doesn't mean you are having a miscarriage. I'm 37 weeks now.
I have one in three weeks, I'm also on the sick due to my anxiety over pregnancy and the loses we've had. I'm hoping that the placenta will be alright, feel extremely sick atm so think spud is just fine for now lol hopefully I'll have no bleeding in the night tonight *fingers crossed * xxx
I bled a few times through this pregnancy. I had a hemmorhage on my placenta from 8 weeks- 16. I also found out at 9 weeks after a big bleed that I had placenta previa complete. I would bleed off an on, don't do anything over strenuous for awhile. Wait until you can get an ultrasound. That's when they will be able to see if there is anything going on.
They told me I don't need to ring unless it gets worse or I get pain etc. The bleeding this mornings stopped all together so am just resting.
Its good to know in one sense Mags but I'm sure it must have drove you mad! I'm petrified.
They didn't check me for infections etc but am going to talk to my midwife on Tuesday. Just trying to stay of my feet for a few days xxx
Hi,i am 6 weeks and 6 days...i was also bleedin earlier this week,i was so scared.Dr has put me on bed rest for 2 weeks nd the bledding stopped the same day...he said it might be an infection and gave me some antibiotics...its my first pregnancy...hope all is well...
Yes I bleed around 3 to 4 times In every trimester. Even once it was alot and bright red. Doc said that it was from my cervix being so sensitive n the added blood flow to that area. I'm now 37 weeks already full term. There r other reasons that may make u bleed. Not ever time u bleed means that ur going to miscarry. I believe there is a lady on this that has a small tear in her placenta or something like that that causes her to bleed also but her baby is good also
Did u call your ob to tell them what happened so they can monitor you
