blood pressure a little high

Today was my first apt and it went great! Im over 8 weeks and the doc said everything looked wonderful! The only thing was my BP was 130/60.  The doctor didn't mention it to me (the nurse took it) and the nurse didn't sound too concerned.   Is there any advice anyone can give me to help lower my BP back to the normal range? I never had high BP before I got pregnant.

I have white coat hypertension so my blod pressure is always high when at the doctor. My midwife had me start taking my bp at home. My blood pressure has risen to 156/98 at the doctor,  but the highest ive had at home is 130/78. I was referred to see an OBGYN and she said they will not worry about it until my blood pressure is consistently above 160/110 and at that point I would be started on meds.I am continuing to take my blood pressure at home and todayb it was 120/70!  Don't worry too much, it just makes you stress more and that raises your bp too. I am currently 29 weeks and am being treated as a chronic hypertensive,  which means baby will have growth scans every 4 weeks and I will be induced a few days before my due date.

I normally have a high bp. My doctor said not to worry until my third trimester. I am almost 18 weeks. He hasn't been concerned yet

Watch what you eat, limit your sodium intake. The sodium can make you retain more water which can increase your bp.
